NEW FEATURE: FAMILY TESTIMONIAL! (Contact me if you would like to be next!) These are the reflections of Jen Heidvogel on the value of St. Bruno to their family:
This is our 7th year at St. Bruno’s. My oldest daughter Callie was a graduate of St. Bruno’s in 2022. My youngest daughter Lulu is currently in 6th grade. We came to St. Bruno’s from St. Paul’s after sadly learning they would be closing the school. As much as we loved the teachers, families & our experience at St. Paul’s, we quickly realized that St. Bruno’s is a very special & unique school!
The teachers at St. Bruno’s are phenomenal! They are a group of dedicated individuals who view teaching as a vocation & truly love our kids! The small class sizes allow them to get to know our children on an individual basis. It also helps foster close & meaningful student/teacher relationships; it allows teachers to spend quality, one-on-one time with our kids to help distinguish their strengths & weaknesses. I am so pleased with the quality of the education my daughters have received. The rigorous, faith-based curriculum helps build a strong foundation that nurtures the whole child – mind, body & spirit, alongside academic excellence.
Our children pray daily and are taught to have a relationship with God. From praying the rosary, to having class buddies & various service projects throughout the year, they learn to be virtuous, empathetic towards others & have strong moral character. These traits are so desperately important now, more than ever, in the ever-changing secular world. These are things you will never find in a public-school setting. There truly are so many wonderful things we love about St. Bruno’s. The friendships my girls have created with classmates and their teachers are irreplaceable. I can’t forget to mention the awesome families! It’s nice to be surrounded by kind, caring & giving people whose values & morals align with our own.
The parental involvement is unlike anything I have experienced before. People selflessly give their time & talents to help make our school community so great! St. Bruno’s truly is a special place & I feel so blessed that my children & I get to be a part of such a loving community!
Thank you, Wildcat Families. We appreciate you!
Sincerely,
Mary
